High-performance RS232/485/422 to CAN FD device

CAN FD (CAN Flexible Data-rate), the latest upgrade of CAN bus, has the longest data of 64 bytes and the Baud rate of flexible data domain up to 5Mbps.

CANFDCOM series product, a high-performance CAN FD intelligent protocol converter developed by Zhiyuan Electronics, integrates 1 CAN FD interface, and supports ISO CAN FD and BoschCANFD. Each interface has an independent 2500VDC electrical isolation protection circuit to prevent the interface card from being damaged by ground circulation and enhance the system reliability in a harsh environment.

CANFDCOM can quickly connect RS-232/485/422 communication device to CAN(FD)-BUS field bus, and support a serial Baud rate of 1200-921600bps and a communication rate of 40-5 Mbps CAN (FD)-bus. Meanwhile, it supports 4 conversion modes (transparent conversion, transparent band identification conversion, format conversion and Modbus conversion).

Support USB to CAN interface card under CAN FD protocol

CANFDCOM supports the CAN FD standard of ISO/Bosch, and is compatible with CAN2.0A/B mode. The Baud rate in the data domain can be configured up to 5Mbps, and the data length can be configured up to 64 bytes. The product can provide data load 40 times higher than that of CAN2.0A/B, as well as faster control and data channels for automotive electronics, rail transit, medical electronics, industrial automation, etc.

Up to 2500VDC signal isolation, preventing interface damage

CAN FD interfaces of CANFDCOM interface card have 2500VDC electrical isolation, with static electricity levels of contact discharge ±8KV and surge ±1KV, and can effectively avoid backflow damage caused by different node ground potentials. It is especially suitable for testing electric vehicles and trains.

Operating CAN FD as conveniently as operating serial port

You don’t need to know anything about CAN FD, and you can operate CANFD as conveniently as operating serial port.

CANFDCOM-100IE supports RS-232/485/422 serial communication

Integrate 1 3-wire RS-232 communication interface, 1 2-wire RS-485 communication interface and 1 4-wire RS-422 communication interface. It can be set through a configuration software.
