Domestically Produced LPWAN Long-Range Communication Module

The ZM8620 series modules are a new generation of domestically developed, low-power, high-speed, ultra-long-range wireless communication modules developed by Zhiyuan Electronics. They support a maximum wireless data rate of 85.106 Kbit/s and a maximum transmit power of up to 20 dBm, easily achieving ultra-long-range communication. Adopting the homegrown TurMass communication protocol, the modules support star network topology, serial transparent transmission, AT commands, over-the-air (OTA) upgrade, and periodic sleep and wake-up functions. Featuring industrial-grade reliability, they are widely used in industrial control, smart home, smart lighting, smart metering, smart city and other IoT applications.

It adopts advanced communication technologies including large-scale multi-antenna unlicensed random access (mGFRA), high-efficiency DPFSK modulation, and polar codes. Compared with conventional technologies, it features outstanding advantages such as massive connectivity, high data rate, wide coverage, low cost and high scalability.

Extremely long communication distance

The ZM8620 series modules have a maximum transmission power of up to 20 dBm and a minimum reception sensitivity as low as -136 dBm. They can easily achieve ultra-long-distance communication. Through research and testing, in ideal conditions, the maximum communication distance of the product can reach up to 10 kilometers.
