Heterogeneous multi-core with different functions

ZMC900E is specially manufactured for industrial applications that require a unique combination of real-time processing, communication and application processing. It adopts 5 2.0GHz high-performance 64-bit Arm® Cortex®-A55 CPU core and 3 Cortex®-R5F dual-core step locking cores with high real-time and high reliability. Cortex®-A55 provides powerful computing elements for RT-Linux applications, and Cortex®-R5F low-latency path provides excellent real-time performance.

Commercially licensed EtherCAT protocol stack provides a stability guarantee

ZMC900E adopts commercially licensed EtherCAT protocol stack, and helps eliminate the jittering of periodic messages by the time-triggered send (TTS) hardware to solve the problem of insufficient real-time performance of application layer and ensure the real-time performance of communication.

Efficient and convenient function interface greatly shortens the development cycle

ZMC900E provides an open API interface, supports the secondary development of integrated processes, and enables users to master their core process experience. It is conducive to protecting their intellectual property rights and domain experience.

The RT-Linux high real-time system has three advantages: real-time performance, cross-platform and convenient solution maintenance. EtherCAT communication can control the jittering of ms periodic tasks within ±1.5μs, and meet the high real-time requirements of motion control.
